Air Company is a Brooklyn-based design and technology startup that is driven to defy the impossible. Intentionally launching with consumer products like vodka, hand sanitizier and eau de parfum, Air Company entered the fuel space in September 2022 with AIRMADE™ Sustainable Aviation Fuel, a novel product that utilizes its proprietary carbon-conversion technology that makes fuel directly from captured carbon dioxide.

Elevating the visionary brand’s legacy as a sustainably-minded innovator, JBC conducted a targeted media relations campaign to announce Air Company’s renewable rocket fuel made from carbon dioxide, which supports space exploration.

The breadth of coverage has included national broadcast features on TODAY, Bloomberg Radio and Cheddar; profiles in Fast Company, Fortune, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Inc., WIRED, TechCrunch, CNBC and TIME; and lifestyle coverage in Vogue, Marie Claire, Coveteur, BuzzFeed, Inside Hook, GQ, Refinery29 and Thrillist.

Air Company launched in 2019 with its first innovation, Air Vodka, or the world’s first carbon-negative spirit. To drive awareness and education around the groundbreaking new brand, JBC conducted outreach across top-tier media platforms across tech, business, food and beverage, science and lifestyle outlets, also providing on-site media tours with the co-founders at their distillery.

Following the impactful launch, JBC propelled excitement further for the mission-driven brand as it shifted all vodka operations to produce and donate hand sanitizer to frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
